You will work across the full stack using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, React, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and NoSQL databases, while modernizing platform architecture, improving reliability and front-end experience, and enabling team growth through mentorship and engineering excellence.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.\nMaintain, enhance, and optimize user interface (UI) screens to improve functionality, usability, and performance.\nOwn high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD) for assigned modules/services.\nDesign and build event-driven services and integrations (e. g., Kafka), including idempotency, message ordering, and resilient handling of unreliable upstream and downstream systems.\nDesign and build clean API and error contracts that decouple consumers from the systems behind them.\nCoach and Support Junior Engineers while fostering high code quality and engineering excellence.\nCollaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver features on time.\nImplement unit, integration, and (where relevant) performance tests to ensure software quality.\nTroubleshoot and debug production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.\nParticipate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.\nContribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and automation (CI/CD).\nEnsure security, scalability, and reliability are considered throughout the development lifecycle.\nStay current with Java and related ecosystem technologies and bring new ideas to the team.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong programming skills in Java (Java 11+) with a solid understanding of OOP, concurrency, and multithreading.\nExperience building server-side applications using a Java framework (e. g., Spring/Spring Boot).\nGood understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.\nExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and SQL, including query optimization and schema design.\nHands-on experience with React.js or similar technologies, including state management libraries like Redux or Context API.\nExperience designing and operating event-driven systems using messaging/streaming (e. g., Kafka), including delivery guarantees, idempotency, and schema evolution.\nExperience integrating heterogeneous systems: resilient service-to-service and third-party integrations, with clean API and error-contract design.\nAbility to reason from first principles about unfamiliar systems and tradeoffs, not just recall tools and syntax.\nFamiliarity with version control systems (e. g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.\nSolid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.\nExperience with automated testing (unit/integration) and testing frameworks (e. g., JUnit).\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.\nGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nExperience with DevOps tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience with reactive, non-blocking programming (e. g., Spring Web Flux / Project Reactor);
