This requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep local understanding of the guest journey. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to;\nManages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis \nAssist staff with expediting problem payments (e.g., problems processing credit card).\nPre-assign room allocations in correspondence with the collected data on the reservation - input traces, alerts, comments.\nCan facilitate department meetings and WhatsUp Briefings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the Welcome goals to produce desired results.\nCoordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.\nEnsure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. \nCompile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists. \nComplete cashier and closing reports. \nProvide guests with directions and property information. \nAccommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met. \nProcess all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. \nNotify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.\nAssist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.\nOverall, the Whatever Whenever Supervisor should be able to balance the needs of their team, their guests, and the business itself, while maintaining a focus on excellence and continuous improvement.
