You will participate and/or lead operational, strategic, and financial audits and consulting projects. You will be responsible in the delivery of the Americas Internal Audit annual plan. In this role, you will be the point of contact and knowledge partner for Americas Service & Finance (“S&F”) stakeholders to further drive governance and the risk agenda. You will work closely with the other Internal Audit Managers to execute audits and will keep the Audit Senior Manager informed of progress and issues as necessary. As a trusted advisor, you will partner with stakeholders to provide meaningful process improvements while maintaining objectivity and integrity.\nWhat will be your key responsibilities? \nPerform audit procedures, including developing criteria, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures. \nConduct walkthroughs and testing and prepare workpapers. \nIdentify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations for improvement using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed. \nCommunicate the results of audit and/or projects via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to senior management. \nFollow-up on the remediation status of the agreed management actions. \nSupport and/or lead regional or global Internal Audit Initiatives that could focus on governance and control improvement or IA foundational improvements. \nPursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training, and share information gained with co-workers. \nRepresent Internal Audit in Financial Controller communities or other relevant communities to share best practices. What are we looking for? \nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance/accounting or a similar field and preferably possession or working towards a CPA, CIA, or CFE certificate. \nAt least 6-8 years in External or Internal Audit, “Big 4” or FMCG experience preferred. Alternatively, at least 6-8 years in Mars with background in S&F. \nExperience in Fraud & Investigations is preferred. \nData Analytics and AI experience is preferred. \nExperience auditing consumer packaged goods or other manufacturing companies is desirable. \nExperience working with a global audit function is desirable. \nConsiderable skill in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a succinct fashion. \nGood at standing alone to defend audit observations. \nEffective business writing skills \nEffective project management skills, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines. \nStrong Emotional Intelligence and ability to effectively work in a professional team setting. \nStrong at building relationships with key stakeholders \nExperience in influencing without authority. \nAdditional language skills are highly preferred. \nAbility to travel up to 25%\nWhat can you expect from Mars?\n· Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.\n· Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.\n· Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.\n· An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus\nThe base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
