You will work closely with key retail and convenience channel customers, support commercial negotiations and promotional planning, analyze sales performance, and ensure effective execution of brand strategies to strengthen market presence and deliver business results.\nWhat will be your key responsibilities?\nManage assigned key accounts and agree on joint business plans, applying the Mars Snacking vision towards category growth.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, acting as the key point of contact for each account and providing proactive, responsive customer service.\nDrive category growth through providing expertise to support sales and Mars Snacking marketing activities.\nOwn the P&L and forecasting of customers.\nResponsible and accountable for all trade expenditure and condition/pricing management\nNegotiate and sell in annual account plans with customers.\nFeed customer insights and trends to Demand team to ensure an appropriate offer and materials are created for customers.\nImplement agreed targets for listing and distribution for each account.\nActively seek and develop opportunities to grow the level of business with each key account\nWhat are we looking for?\nPreferably educated to degree level or equivalent.\nEnglish language knowledge - spoken and written.\nValid driving licence.\nExperience that includes negotiating and leveraging insights.\nPrevious customer experience or proven ability to deliver successful solutions that cover product, placement, promotion and/ or pricing.\nGood interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop long term, effective and influential business relationships with key decision makers which drive mutual growth.\nAbility to assess needs, propose mutually beneficial solutions, overcome objections, demonstrate resilience and manage conflict with a positive & confident mind-set and close sale to maximise mutual value.\nExperience in areas such as (but not exclusive to): field sales, customer management and customer marketing.\nWhat can you expect from Mars?\nWork with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.\nJoin a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.\nBest-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.\nAn industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.\nThe base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be within the range set out below for a full-time position.
