Shift Differential of $1.50hr is applied to eligible shifts.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nMaintains the entire work area in a neat, safe and orderly fashion using Lean Manufacturing techniques.\nComplies with all Company and Plant policies and procedures including conformance to the facilities’ GMP program (Good Manufacturing Practices).\nEnsures all OSHA guidelines are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to leadership immediately. Validates the use of the Plants’ lockout tagout procedures, job rotation program, etc. as needed. Promotes a positive and a safe work environment.\nAdherence to schedule by following outlined schedule week to week. The ability to react to schedule changes depending on flavor/pack type change overs. Monitors case attainment to react appropriately when falling behind or ahead of schedule.\nResponsible for packaging standards being met including film, carton, case, and code date, packaging integrity, and quality checks on each packaging order.\nEquipment set-up to centerline settings. i.e., wrappers, carton closers, carton formers, jet printers, etc.\nHandle start up, change over, and shut down duties pertaining to packing equipment at the beginning, middle, and end of each shift.\nResponsible to communicate, train, coach, and motivate team members during employment with Natures Bakery.\nFill in as necessary due to callouts, vacation, PTO, and all other absences.\nResponsible to pass down training information, processes, procedures, company values, among other notifications to new hires and ensure existing personnel is up to date on those same items.\nLoads, removes, and/or off bears materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices.\nCommunicating with supervisors, peers, and team members by telephone, written form, e-mail, and/or in person.\nEstablish and maintain interpersonal relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationship with others.\nIdentify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing, differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.\nAssist in developing SOP’s.\nCreate daily reports regarding staffing, production numbers, scrapped material, and encountered issues throughout the shift.\nDevelops, maintains, and communicate visual key performance indicators (KPI’s) to provide ongoing feedback regarding productivity, quality, safety and sanitation and housekeeping.
