# Project Engineer

Job Description: ThisRegional Project Engineering Role will be a part of the Mars Snacking North America Packaging engineering team. This role will be responsible for all aspects of planning and executing projects from ideation to project closure. The scope could include leading and/or supporting large capital projects from product distribution, packaging, palletizing and warehousing, depending on business needs. The role owns the overall leadership of packaging projects via the Mars Snacking Engineering Execution Standard. This role will be based out of one of the following sites Battle Creek, MI; Cary, NC; Chicago, IL; Jackson, TN; Kansas City, KC. What are we looking for? Minimum Qualifications: BS degree in Engineering 4+ years’ experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry Proven track record in successfully executing capital projects of greater than $1M value Demonstrated ability to safely manage consultant engineering firms as well as mechanical and electrical installation contractors in a factory environment Proven deep understanding of packaging engineering principles Prior knowledge and experience in food safety Stron
