This role combines project leadership with deep technical expertise in industrial control systems, supporting the implementation of innovative manufacturing solutions within one of Mars' largest production sites.\nWhat will be your key responsibilities?\nLead capital investment projects from concept through execution, commissioning and handover to operations.\n\nDeliver projects safely, on time, within budget and in line with agreed business objectives.\n\nManage automation and controls-related project activities, including PLC, SCADA, MES, industrial networks and factory IT systems.\n\nDefine technical requirements and develop solutions together with manufacturing, engineering and business stakeholders.\n\nCoordinate contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams throughout project execution.\n\nEnsure compliance with Mars engineering standards, quality requirements, food safety standards and applicable regulations.\n\nProvide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams in the areas of automation, controls and electrical systems.\n\nContribute to the development and implementation of global and regional engineering standards, while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nDegree in Automation, Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\nStrong controls engineering background with hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems within a manufacturing environment.\n\nMinimum 5 years of engineering experience, including delivering capital investment or industrial improvement projects.\n\nExperience working with PLC platforms such as Siemens and/or Rockwell, including troubleshooting and commissioning activities.\n\nKnowledge of SCADA, MES, industrial networks and factory digitalization solutions.\n\nProven ability to lead technical projects and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.\n\nStrong understanding of engineering safety, quality and reliability principles.\n\nFluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in FMCG, food manufacturing or other highly automated production environments.\n\nKnowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar engineering design tools.\n\nExperience with SQL databases, historian systems and industrial data collection platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with Python, C#, JavaScript or other programming languages.\n\nElectrical qualifications (G1) and additional
