It’s the opportunity to start your tomorrow today.\nJob Purpose/Overview:\nThis role is responsible for performing all reception and unloading operations for raw materials coming into the manufacturing facility. This position will also handle master sanitation activities for the area and perform required inventory tasks.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform receiving and unloading of all raw materials (bulks, liquids, super sacks, bags).\nOperate forklifts and other equipment to offload and store materials.\nManage and sign delivery documentation, noting any quality or quantity discrepancies.\nCollaborate with the supply coordinator on inbound receiving priorities.\nAccurately maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and report any stock discrepancies.\nPerform cyclical and period-end inventory counts of raw ingredients.\nConduct equipment verifications, record keeping, and first-level maintenance.\nUphold food safety standards and adhere to site Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).\nExecute sanitation duties as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule, following lock-out/tag-out procedures.\nPromote a positive and high-quality team environment.\nQualifications:\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nWilling and able to work varying shifts, schedules, and overtime.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.\nStrong communication skills in English.\nPreferred: 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or a related technical discipline.\nPreferred: Competency in computer software, including MS Office, email, and inventory (WMS) systems.\nPreferred: Knowledge of inventory control principles and ability to operate a forklift or scissor lift.\nPhysical/Environmental Requirements:\nAbility to stand on a concrete floor for extended periods.\nMust wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).\nCapable of bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, and climbing stairs.\nAbility to lift up to 55 lbs.\nMust be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes (hot, cold, dust, dirt, chemicals).\nMilitary Crosswalk: Transferable Skills\nThis position aligns well with the skills and experience gained in numerous military occupational specialties.
