Part time hours 24 hours per week Mon-Wed.\n**The primary location of this position will beVernonand surrounding Towns**\nWhat are we looking for?\nHigh school graduate.\n\nExperience in a Customer Facing role.\n\nPrevious Sales experience an asset.\n\nValid driver’s license.\n\nGood communication and presentation skills.\n\nWhat will be your key responsibilities?\nSelling and Distribution:\nResponsible for suggesting order and selling presentation programs to customers.\n\nPresenting and selling booking sheets to stores.\n\nMaintaining distribution of assigned products.\n\nSelling new innovation.\n\nEnsure promotional & seasonal compliance within designated retail outlets.\n\n Merchandising excellence:\nEnsuring shelves are stocked with all listed product.\n\nRefilling of merchandiser fixtures, as well as working with the customer to secure secondary space for building of display.\n\nUtilize POS for effective merchandising and pricing.\n\nRotation of products both on-shelf and in backroom to ensure optimal product quality and freshness.\n\nData Collection/Integrity:\nMaintain accurate and appropriate data through hand-held technology as determined by the business.\n\n Ensuring Call-coverage:\nProper territory management through customer coverage that involves efficient and effective use of time and resources.\n\nMust plan and organize route schedule according to company call coverage model, complying with the frequency and time-in call for each banner.\n\nEnsuring adherence to allocation of time based on priorities established by the segments.\n\nCommunication and Administration:\nKeep DSM up-to-date regarding territory activity.\n\nMaintain an adequate stock of relevant merchandising supplies and POS materials.\n\nFollow and adhere to company policies (time, expenses, product waste, mileage etc.)\n\nFollow company procedures for processing credits/samples.\n\nRead through and understand content of communications and priorities directed to the field.\n\nSpecial Projects:\nMay be responsible for supporting special projects for Sales team as assigned.\n\nOther:\nAll other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nCommunication with Sales Organization.\n\nOther responsibilities as defined including Engagement Action Planning.\n\nMars Snacking, Inspiring Happiness with better snacks for better days.\nWhat can you expect from Mars?\nWork with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.\n\nJoin a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.\n\nBest-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.\n\nAn industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.\n\nThe base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the below range CAD 24.14 - CAD 31.68.
