We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience testing real-world hardware/software products or systems, rather than candidates whose experience is primarily web or mobile application testing.\n\nV&V Senior Engineer:\n\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n- Work with Engineering Leads to understand system requirements and translate them into test requirements and scenarios.\n\n- Develop and execute system, integration, and formal test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.\n\n- Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to define and execute effective test strategies.\n\n- Conduct testing of hardware devices, software applications, APIs, databases, and integrated systems.\n\n- Perform device/system procedures, software builds, integration testing, and system validation.\n\n- Trace system requirements from customer specifications through test cases and test results.\n\n- Identify, document, track, and drive the resolution of defects, ARQs, and system issues.\n\n- Validate test procedures and maintain test environments and test data as required.\n\n- Maintain test requirements and test management databases.\n\n- Prepare test status reports and communicate progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to management and relevant stakeholders.\n\n- Support Test Readiness Reviews and prepare required presentation and test documentation.\n\n- Work closely with Engineering from the Analysis and Design phases to ensure testability, product quality, and timely delivery.\n\n- Provide technical guidance and support to junior test engineers where required.\n\n- Identify testing resources, schedules, and dependencies and support overall test planning.\n\n- Interface with customers, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams as required.\n\n- Work with QA teams to address corrective actions resulting from reviews and audits.\n\n- Maintain awareness of current testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.\n\n- Support other V&V/System Test activities and departmental projects as required.\n\nMinimum Job Requirements:\n\nEducation:\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Technology/Engineering (B.Tech) or Master's in Computer Applications (MCA), Computer Science, or a related technical field.\n\nSkills, Experience & Knowledge:\n\n- 5 -
