You will represent our iconic snacking brands in-store, working closely with retail partners to execute impactful merchandising, displays, promotions and seasonal programs. This is a fast-paced, field-based role where you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact on our business by identifying opportunities, executing with excellence and partnering with customers to grow our brands.\nWhat are we looking for?\n Education & Professional Qualifications\nBachelor's degree is an asset \nAbility to lift product (maximum lifting requirement 50 pounds). \nAbility to drive approximately 100 km daily while making sales calls. \nAbility to sustain repeated movement which includes but is not limited to in and out of car movement, bending, leaning, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping motions. \nKnowledge / Experience\nSales experience would be preferable \nAbility to secure level of vehicle insurance coverage as determined by Mars Canada Inc. \nValid driver’s license. \nWhat will be your key responsibilities?\nManage wholesale and retail chain accounts with NSV targets. \nAs required, serve as a Peer Coach for other regional and team members for onboarding tasks. \nSell in and maintaining distribution of assigned products. \nResponsible for presenting display programs to customers and suggesting order. \nPresenting and selling booking sheets to stores. \nEnsuring all listed product are stocked and properly displayed on shelves with store price tags. \nReplenishing of display fixtures, including Mars Wrigley Canada racks. \nWorking with the customer to secure secondary space for building of display. \nApplying POS or other Marketing materials where applicable. \nProduct rotation both on-shelf and in backroom to ensure optimal product quality and freshness. \nMaintain appropriate data (customer Info, survey recording, tracking, etc…) in field sales data collection software. \nTerritory management through customer coverage that involves efficient and effective use of time and resources. \nPlan and organise route schedule according to company call coverage model (frequency and time-in call). \nKeep DSM up-to-date regarding territory activity. \nMaintain an adequate stock of relevant merchandising supplies and POS materials. \nFollow company procedures for processing credits/cheques. \nBuild and maintain relationships with key store personnel. \nWhat can you expect from Mars?\nWork with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.\nJoin a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.\nA strong focus on learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.\nAn industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.\nThe base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the below range CAD 67,886.00 - CAD 89,100.00.
