With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world’s leading professional services firm, Marsh (NYSE: MRSH).\nA day in the life.\nAs our Client Manager on the Agribusiness team, you will:\nOversee the servicing of a diverse book of business, ensuring accuracy, proper handling, and appropriate distribution of policies, endorsements, and other requests from clients and colleagues.\nDirect the gathering and preparation of submission information for the marketing process, including applications and schedules, and ensure alignment with client needs and agency capabilities.\nPrepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals, binding coverage in accordance with agency guidelines, and ensuring accuracy in policy documentation.\nAssist with the marketing and placement of new and renewal business, including preparing pre-renewal information packets, obtaining loss runs, and finalizing proposal summaries.\nServe as the primary point of contact for identified clients, responding promptly to requests and overseeing the preparation of necessary documents.\nBuild and maintain strong, strategic relationships with clients and carriers, enhancing client loyalty and satisfaction.\nAssist in training newly hired team members and be available as a resource for team members and colleagues, responding to questions and issues in a timely manner.\nConduct thorough assessments of clients' business risk programs, identifying exposures and providing strategic recommendations for coverage enhancements.\nEmphasize risk management when reviewing renewal policies and endorsements, providing risk management advice directly to policyholders.\nWork closely with Producers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on client activities and strategic initiatives.\nLead efforts in special projects that drive agency growth and improve service delivery.\nReview renewals, endorsements, and other documents for accuracy and compliance with coverage requests.\nRespond to underwriting requests and collaborate with clients as needed.\nStay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, participating in continued education and professional development opportunities.\nPursue professional development and certifications, including obtaining CISR, CIC, and AAI designations, and maintaining required continuing education for licenses.\nEnsure the confidentiality of client information and adherence to agency service standards and regulatory requirements.\nOther duties as assigned to successfully complete role.\nOur future colleague.\nWe’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, required.\n3+ years of experience working in customer service, underwriting, commercial lines insurance for a carrier or broker preferred.\nFamiliarity with insurance company markets, binding authority, and underwriting guidelines preferred.\nMust be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.\nGood interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency.\nExcellent written and verbal communication.\nProficiency in Microsoft office applications required.\nMust have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.\nAbility to work well in a team environment, maintain a positive work atmosphere, and develop healthy relationships internally and externally.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to negotiate quotations, evaluate client needs, and develop innovative business solutions.\nBe a self-starter and problem solver.\nAAI, CIC, CISR, or CRIS designation preferred\nProperty/Casualty license or ability to attain is required.\nWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
