The Engineer collaborates with Development, DevOps and other technology teams to ensure that the Kubernetes platform ecosystem is reliable, scalable and efficient.\nThe ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience in Kubernetes clusters operations management, and container orchestration, along with strong problem-solving skills. Experience in infrastructure platform management is required.\nWe will count on you to:\nProvide hands-on operational support for Kubernetes clusters and associated platform services.\n\nManage and resolve incidents, service requests and changes through shared operational queues.\n\nTroubleshoot Kubernetes platform issues and perform cluster maintenance, upgrades and configuration changes.\n\nSupport container technologies, certificate management and platform monitoring.\n\nCollaborate with application, DevOps, security and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.\n\nMaintain clear documentation of configurations, changes and operational procedures.\n\nContribute to the reliability, security and continuous improvement of the Kubernetes platform.\n\nWhat you need to have?\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in data center operations, systems engineering or a similar hands-on infrastructure role.\n\nIntermediate to advanced networking knowledge, with practical experience troubleshooting switch/router behaviour, VLANs, subnetting, routing, SAN networking and basic load balancing.\n\nIntermediate to advanced infrastructure and cloud experience: hands-on familiarity with server and storage platforms, virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.\n\nFoundational security awareness : understanding of basic security controls relevant to data centre operations and media handling.\n\nPractical experience with server and storage installation, racking, cabling and hardware lifecycle procedures.\n\nWhat makes you stand out?\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.\n\nScripting or automation experience using Bash, Python or Go.\n\nExperience with Kubernetes security concepts, including RBAC, network policies and secrets management.\n\nExperience with centralised logging solutions such as Fluentd, Logstash, Loki or equivalent tools.\n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD environments and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
