This role will be based in Broomfield, CO. This is a hybrid role that requires at least three days a week in the office.\nAs a middle market property underwriter, you will evaluate and underwrite property insurance for complex and diverse accounts, focusing on renewal business and endorsements. You will work closely with brokers, risk engineers, and clients to analyze risk exposures, review engineering reports, and develop tailored insurance solutions.\nWe will count on you to:\nUtilize technical expertise and market knowledge to assess risk, determine appropriate coverage terms, and support profitable portfolio growth while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.\nAchieve annual production goals set for the team and department within required risk metrics.\nAnalyze and interpret engineering reports to assess technical risks and exposures, incorporating findings into underwritten decisions to ensure accurate risk evaluation and pricing.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners to support business objectives.\nWhat you need to have:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of one year of progressive property insurance underwriting experience. \nExperience in insurance, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
