Joining our team means being part of a business that thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering infrastructure with confidence at every stage.\nAs part of our commitment to the evolution of both our products and position as a leading supplier of innovative solutions to the UK water and drainage infrastructure industry we have a brand-new opportunity for a Civil Engineering CAD Technician to join our Design & Engineering team.\nSo what's the mission?\n Your main responsibilities will be to provide CAD design and technical support for the Marshalls Civils & Drainage product ranges, primarily focussing on our core Water Management products and solutions, with an exposure to linear drainage, sealed manholes and specialist products designed and manufactured to meet our customers requirements. You will produce CAD drawings, calculations, bills of materials and provide engineering support to a high standard, ensuring compliance with both Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards.\n\nWhat are the mission-critical skills?\n This is an opportunity to expand on your experiences and develop your career. We think this role would be suited to someone who has;\nQualified to Level 3 (or equivalent) in a civil engineering related subject\nExperience of working in a design and technical environment (consultancy, D&B contractor, or a building products design & manufacture business)\nAbility to within industry design standards and codes\nExperienced in material take-offs and drawing / specification reviews\nProficient in the use of 2D AutoCAD and / or Solidworks to produce digital models\nPrevious experience in the detailing of pre-cast concrete products and structures would be a distinct advantage\nAbility to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders\nBe able to demonstrate flexibility to adapt and respond to change\nProven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines \nWhy join Marshalls?\n Our colleagues have been at the heart of Marshalls for generations and will continue to be the driving force behind our success for generations to come.
