From producing industry-leading solutions to driving continuous improvement, our teams play a critical role in helping customers build with confidence and create places that last for generations.\nWe're now looking for an Operations Manager to join our Manufacturing team at Pollington.\n\nSo what's the mission?\n Working in partnership with the Site Operations Manager, and closely with the Site Engineering Manager you’ll focus on driving site operational activities, compliance, SHEQ, and continuous improvement. Leading from the front, you will balance strategic planning with site-wide engagement, analysing production processes to streamline efficiency and elevate standards.\nYour real impact will be on our culture. We’re looking for someone who can develop a performance driven environment centred on ownership, accountability, and transparency. To achieve this, you’ll engage the hearts and minds of our colleagues, inspiring a proactive, safety-first mindset across the site. Through consistent coaching and mentoring, you’ll ensure our people feel supported and empowered to develop.\nYou’ll bring a track record of leadership from a fast-paced manufacturing background. You understand that excellent operational metrics are built on great relationships, combining technical competence and compliance with a natural, engaging communication style. You are someone who knows how to manage change effectively and bring diverse teams along with you.\n\nWhat are the mission-critical skills?\nAt least three years of experience leading teams within a medium to large, automated industrial manufacturing environment, ideally with a proven track record of working effectively within a unionised setting\nA thorough understanding of safety, quality, and best practice housekeeping standards, with an IOSH Managing\nSafely or NEBOSH General Certificate being highly desirable\nThe ability to use data, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of OEE to drive informed decisions and track performance\nA collaborative and proactive leadership style, with the ability to communicate across all levels, resolve issues constructively, and build customer confidence\nExperience with lean manufacturing techniques, such as DMAIC is desirable \nWhy join Marshalls?\n Our colleagues have been at the heart of Marshalls for generations and will continue to be the driving force behind our success for generations to come.
