We’re growing our manufacturing team and are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join us at our Sandy manufacturing site.\nSo, what's the mission?\nWorking as part of a skilled team to manufacture high-quality concrete products using the best technology and techniques, you’ll put health and safety at the heart of everything you do! You'll mainly work with concrete products, operating press machinery, hand-powered tools, shot blast machinery, and mobile plant such as Forklift trucks to move stock around the site. You will have your own personal development plan, to gain new skills and increase your salary through our grading structure.\nWhat are the mission-critical skills?\nExperience working in a busy Production/Manufacturing environment\nForklift truck license and experience is essential\nStrong interpersonal skills with a track record of working reliably within a shift based team structure \nEffective communication skills (oral and written)\nFlexibility on shift rotation or night shift experience will be required\nComputer user - basic knowledge required\nSafe to Supervise or IOSH qualification would be advantageous but not essential\nAble to work a flexible shift pattern, including nights, should future business needs require it.\nWhy join Marshalls?\n Our colleagues have been at the heart of Marshalls for generations and will continue to be the driving force behind our success for generations to come.
