We offer competitive benefits, hybrid work schedules, new challenges, and learning experiences.\nPosition Summary:\nMarshBerry is currently seeking an Operations Associate based in our Beachwood, OH headquarters.\nThe Operations Associate supports the IBC team’s operational, financial and strategic initiatives to help the IBC team achieve their goals. The Operations Associate will support the Director of Operations to drive continuous improvement and efficiency to all aspects of operations ensuring IBC services are delivered effectively and consistently. They will handle staffing and workload management to ensure projects are staffed effectively. They will work cross-functionally with the services teams including Finance, HR, Marketing, Compliance and IBC practice teams.\nThis individual will work onsite Monday through Thursday with the option to work remotely on Friday's.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in implementing operational processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency across IBC services.\nManage project staffing, including tracking team capacity, making project assignments and maintaining visibility into project pipeline and workload distribution.\nCommunicate with project leads to ensure alignment on deadlines, priorities, and resource needs.\nMaintain and continuously improve standard operating procedures, templates, and documentation.\nDevelop, maintain, and distribute recurring operational and performance reports (KPIs, utilization, pipeline, project status, etc.)\nBuild dashboards and reports to track progress against strategic and business plan goals.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of team financial performance.\nCollaborate with Finance to ensure accurate data inputs, reporting, and alignment.\nSupport the execution of strategic initiatives and annual business plan priorities.\nTrack progress on key initiatives and prepare updates for leadership.\nAssist in coordinating strategic planning activities (materials, timelines, data gathering).\nConduct research and analysis to support new initiatives and business opportunities.\nCollaborate with services teams including Finance, HR, Marketing, Compliance and IBC practice teams.\nCultivate and maintain effective relationships with potential internal/external clients, partners and stakeholders that can directly or indirectly lead to revenue generation for all MarshBerry services.\nSelection Criteria\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.\nAdditional Professional Designations or Certifications desired.\n2-5 years of experience within operations, preferably within investment banking, consulting or financial services.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Excel.\nOther:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.\nExcellent project management; with analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong communication skills: both written and verbal with demonstrated creativity with regard to work.\nDemonstrated industry business acumen; ability to grasp new business concepts and issues.\nAbility to travel up to 25% of the time; includes overnight and limited weekend travel.\nAbility to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed.\nWorking at MarshBerry\nWho We Are:\nMarshBerry is a global leader in investment banking and strategic consulting for the financial services industry.
