This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Technology FinOps Manager, you will support to IT teams for cloud and technology financial management across enterprise spend, with a focus on cloud platforms (including AWS, Azure and OCI), infrastructure, tools, and related technical services. This role partners with engineering, architecture, finance, procurement, and leadership teams to improve cost visibility, identify inefficiencies, and drive sustainable savings without compromising reliability, security, or delivery speed.\nWe will count on you to:\nProvide support to IT teams for cloud and technology expense management practices.\nBuild and maintain spend visibility through dashboards, reporting, and regular business reviews.\nPartner with engineering and platform teams to identify cost anomalies, waste, and optimization opportunities.\nProvide forecasting and budgeting support for cloud and technical services in collaboration with Finance.\nHelp ensure cost management controls are in place, including tagging standards and governance guardrails.\nDrive adoption of FinOps principles, including unit economics and accountability by product/team.\nSupport contract and consumption optimization by working with Procurement and vendor management stakeholders.\nDefine and track KPIs such as cost per workload, utilization efficiency, and realized savings.\nCommunicate cost insights and recommendations to technical and executive audiences.\nDevelop playbooks and repeatable processes for cost incident response and ongoing optimization.\nWhat you need to have:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).\nExperience in technology operations, infrastructure, platform engineering, IT finance, or related areas.\nHands-on exposure to cloud and/or enterprise technology expense management, cost reporting, or optimization initiatives.\nPractical experience with AWS billing and cost management tooling.\nStrong analytical skills with experience in trend analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting.\nDemonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical spend into business impact.\nDemonstrated learning agility, ownership mindset, and eagerness to solve ambiguous\nAdvanced level of English is a must\nWhy join our team:\nWe help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.\nWe foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.\nOur scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.\nMarsh (NYSE: MRSH) is a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
