We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our medical team.\nVisit us at: https://vcahospitals.com/valley\nAbout the Role\nAs Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:\nDirecting work flow on the floor \nCultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture\nWork cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital\nHelp with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates \nAssists in the educational development of technicians and their skills \nConduct staff meetings\nProvide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience \nMentoring technicians within the department \nResolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner \nRefining and implementing protocols\nEnsure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.\nSchedule: Full Time, evening and Saturday rotation required.\nCompensation: $26.00 - $35.00 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.\nBeing a Technician Supervisor means you are a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care-with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.\nHaving mastered the entire range of vet tech skills yourself, you are a role model for the team.
