This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn in a fast-paced emergency environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAssist technicians and doctors with patient restraint, treatments, procedures, and hospitalized patient care\nWalk stable patients and report changes to the medical team\nClean and disinfect cages, treatment areas, and procedure spaces\nStock supplies, maintain laundry flow, and support overall department organization\nAssist with radiographs, lab testing, surgical prep, and clean-up once trained\nFollow hospital safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old\nStrong communication skills and a professional, team-focused attitude\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment\nReliable attendance and dependable transportation\nWillingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and remain active throughout long shifts\nVCA SVRC is a leading specialty and emergency hospital offering hands-on experience in emergency medicine, strong team support, and opportunities for growth within the veterinary field. The pay range for this position is $17.50 to $18.50 per hour.
