Travel may be required based on project assignments and contractual requirements.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAs an Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of concrete construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Executives, and field teams, you'll help coordinate project activities from planning through closeout.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport project planning, scheduling, and logistics alongside Project Executives and operations leadership.\nCoordinate project activities with field teams, clients, subcontractors, and project leadership.\nManage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, specifications, and contract documents.\nTrack daily field production using Bluebeam while maintaining weather logs, production reports, material tracking, and project documentation.\nCoordinate material procurement and communicate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.\nReview invoices, verify pay applications, and assist with accurate project cost coding.\nLead and document weekly project meetings to maintain communication and accountability across project teams.\nSupport quality control, punch-list completion, and successful project closeout activities.\nAssist with maintaining project schedules and identifying potential risks before they impact project performance.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.\nThree or more years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer supporting large concrete construction projects.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and concrete scopes of work.\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, field personnel, and internal teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Procore, and Microsoft Project.\nComfortable working onsite at active construction projects.\nSelf-motivated professional with a strong desire to learn, grow, and advance within the construction industry.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOSHA Certification\nBilingual (English/Spanish)\nExperience with AutoCAD and/or Tekla\nWhy Join Martin Concrete Construction?\nMartin Concrete Construction is one of the nation's premier commercial concrete contractors, delivering complex concrete construction across data centers, power generation, water and wastewater treatment facilities, manufacturing, industrial, commercial, and other critical infrastructure projects.\nAs an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)company, our employees are more than team members-they're employee-owners.
