(Yes, even Antarctica!)\nView our 2025 Year in Review here.\nThe Team\nOur Civil Engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.\nResponsibilities\nAssists in conceptual design.\nAssists in fee determination and proposal preparation.\nFills out Project Setup Forms and reviews/fills out work authorizations.\nEstablishes a QA/QC plan for each project.\nActs as a mentor for younger engineers and assists with their career development.\nAttends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction.\nFollows up on collection of account receivables.\nRequirements\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum\nRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Kansas or ability to obtain one within 3 months.\n5-8 years of progressive civil engineering experience\nMust be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nAbility to work in the Kansas City area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.\nDesired\nMin 4 years’ experience in site development, land development, or infrastructure.\nMin 1 years’ experience with Professional Engineer (PE) license\nKnowledge of or proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, AutoTurn.\nShows strong interest in participating in company initiatives\nConstruction field experience\nExcellent time management and organizational skills\nThis position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities.
