(Yes, even Antarctica!)\nView our 2025 Year in Review here.\nThe Team\nOur structural engineering teams provide custom solutions for new constructions and expansions, with a strong record in notable projects like Coors Field, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and Harborcenter.\nResponsibilities\nEngage with clients and contractors as primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle.\nManage and collaborate with engineering and technician staff to produce high-quality projects.\nAct as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff regarding design techniques, software, and code questions.\nDevelop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.\nUphold quality control by checking calculations, drawings and other documents.\nRequirements\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum.\nProven experience in structural engineering, including structural steel design\nMust be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nAbility to work in the Atlanta area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.\nHolds a Professional Engineering license in at least one state\nMinimum of 9 years of progressive engineering experience\n1 year of professional experience equivalencies include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, OR passing the 16-hour NCEES structural engineering exam\nDemonstrates ability to be in responsible charge of projects\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines\nEffective at communicating and working with clients, Design Teams, and colleagues\nDesired\nExperience in relevant specialty work, including connection design, erection engineering, misc metals design, crane design, etc.\nCommitment to meeting quality and financial goals\nShows strong commitment to continued professional development\nParticipating member of at least one professional and/or technical society\nImproves production tools for the betterment of the company\nDemonstrates skill and a positive attitude in completing difficult assignments\nDemonstrates willingness to take on additional work and responsibility\nPassed the 16-hour structural engineering exam\nWorking Conditions, Skills, and Abilities\nThis position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities.
