This next phase requires more than models or platforms - it requires production-grade AI applications that are accurate, governed, observable, and continuously improving through real-world usage.\nWhat You Can Expect\nThe Director, Applied AI and Operations will lead the design, development, and operation of enterprise agentic applications that power intelligent workflows, decision support, and automation across the company. \nThis role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of agentic solutions - from architecture and build through deployment and continuous improvement - while leveraging the shared evaluation, observability, and governance services provided by our enterprise AI platform.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role. You will architect solutions, guide implementation, and build a team that delivers AI applications designed from day one for automation and continuous evaluation. \nSuccess is measured by solutions in production that operate reliably at scale, maintain accuracy over time, and deliver clear business ROI.\nIn your first year, success looks like a set of production agentic solutions delivering measurable ROI and operating reliably with minimal manual oversight.\nLead architecture and delivery of scalable, reusable agentic AI solutions aligned with enterprise AI platforms.\nDesign agent workflows using Model Context Protocol (MCP), orchestration frameworks, and shared platform services - built for reuse, not pilots.\nEmbed evaluation-by-design, leveraging standardized enterprise evaluation, governance, and observability services.\nDrive automation-first operations, including AI-powered monitoring, anomaly detection, and remediation.\nPartner with business leaders to translate problems into well-scoped agentic solutions, using human-in-the-loop only where risk or governance requires.\nDefine and track solution-level metrics (adoption, accuracy, cost, business impact) and provide executive-ready ROI reporting.\nLead hands-on tool evaluation and build reference implementations aligned to enterprise standards.\nTransition mature solutions to IT/Platform teams with clean operational handoff and accountability.\nBuild and scale a lean Agentic Solutions Engineering team, setting strong engineering and quality standards.\nAct as a senior technical partner across AI Platform, Governance, Enablement, and IT teams.\nWhat We're Looking For\n12-18 years in platform operations, DevOps, SRE, or AI/ML Ops roles.\nProven experience owning both architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale platforms.\nTrack record of building teams that ship and operate complex systems.\nStrong understanding of GenAI operational challenges (cost, latency, evaluation, governance).\nExperience influencing architecture without needing to be the primary coder.\nAbility to operate effectively in global, matrixed enterprise environments.\nBachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nAgentic & AI Platforms: Enterprise agentic platforms, MCP-based architectures, orchestration frameworks\n Evaluation & Governance (consumed services): Enterprise evaluation frameworks, accuracy scoring, audit services\nObservability & Ops: AI-driven monitoring, tracing, cost tracking, automated remediation\nCloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, containerized services\nIntegration & Delivery: APIs, workflow automation, CI/CD for AI applications\nAutomation-first thinker who designs systems to operate themselves.\nStrong ownership mindset from design through sustained production.\nPragmatic, quality-driven, and focused on business outcomes.\nComfortable leveraging shared services rather than reinventing platforms.\nBuilder of scalable systems and high-performing teams.\n\nThis role is eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers, ensuring you are rewarded for your contributions and remain invested in the company's long-term success.\nAdditional Compensation and Benefit Elements\nWith competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an environment of shared collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity.
