These chips form the backbone of the internet, moving data within data centers, between data centers, over high bandwidth optical fibers. Firmware/Software team owns all the SW components for the chips, including embedded FW, customer SDK, lab scripts, and GUI applications to interface with the chips . This team is a critical part of the product development flow from initial lab bring-up to field deployment.What You Can Expect\nDeveloping embedded C firmware for controlling DSP HW.\nDeveloping C & Python test code for utilities, GUIs, regression, and simulation infrastructure.\nTaking an idea from concept through design, review, implementation, testing, and release to customers.\nWork on mission-critical features for top-tier cloud customers.\nDebug difficultissues, drive to root causes with HW/SW teams, and follow up with Jira tickets to get bugs resolved.\nWhat We're Looking For\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Software, Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering, and related fields and 1 to 3 years relevant experience is required.\nUnderstanding of fundamental Networking from the OSI model, emphasizing the PHY up to the data link level.\nExperience in C and Python, with knowledge of git, Linux, makefiles, gdb, IDEs, and bash is a plus.\nExperience with the software development flow, from issue tracking (Jira), SCM (gitlab), design & code reviews (also gitlab), continuous integration (Jenkins), and regression testing\nSoftware development experience in Embedded Firmware environments is a plus Understanding DSP concepts (equalizers, filters, ADC, DAC, FFE, DFE) and PAM modulation is a plus.\nThis role is a full-time, onsite position, requiring employees to work from the office five days per week.
