This position offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in and drive the success of Marvell's cutting-edge optical products, including Silicon Photonic Light Engines, pluggable modules, and co-packaged optics. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing of opto-electrical devices, preferably optical transceivers, and have multidisciplinary knowledge encompassing optics, mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineering.What You Can Expect\nCollaborate with the US team to receive and learn about NPI products, and work with both internal and CM teams to transition them to volume production.\n\nSustain and continually improve production yield, with a focus on Silicon photonics, optical transceiver modules, subassemblies, other related opto-electronic devices.\n\nProactively manage production line risks in collaboration with PTE, SQE and planning groups.\n\nWork closely with the US module PE team to collaboratively own the products across product lifecycle.\n\nImplement automatic in-process controls and monitor production line yield on a regular basis.\n\nProduction line failure analysis (FA) and failure disposition at chip/Sipho level and Optical sub-assembly level.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nMaster’s degree in Photonics, Opto-Electronics, or a related field.\n\n4+ years of industry experience in product and test engineering for volume production, with a focus on Silicon photonics, optical transceiver modules, subassemblies, other related opto-electronic devices.\n\nPrior NPI/manufacturing experience in silicon photonics, optical transceivers or other optoelectronic devices is a significant plus.\n\nStrong experience in silicon photonics design and device physics and process development and troubleshooting.\n\nFamiliarity with silicon photonics foundry, assembly and packaging process.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nThis role is eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers, ensuring you are rewarded for your contributions and remain invested in the company's long-term success.\nAdditional Compensation and Benefit Elements\nWith competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an environment of shared collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity.
