This role serves as a subject matter resource and critical partner to Transportation Safety Managers and operational leaders, helping ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety standards across transportation, warehouse, office, field, and other non-manufacturing environments.\nThis position applies working knowledge of transportation safety, workplace safety, compliance auditing, risk management, incident management, and safety program administration to independently manage assigned compliance activities and recommend improvements.\nHighlights of your role\nPartner with Enterprise Transportation Safety Managers and Safety Leaders to coordinate safety-related activities.\nAdminister assigned elements of enterprise non-manufacturing safety programs, including offices, warehouse, field service, OTR drivers, and other operational environments.\nConduct workplace safety inspections, audits, investigations, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities; document findings and recommend corrective actions.\nAdminister safety initiatives focused on reducing risk and improving employee safety performance.\nMonitor compliance with internal safety policies, procedures, and standards.\nManage corrective-action tracking, inspections, and follow-up activities; identify compliance gaps, analyze trends, and recommend actions to safety managers and respective leadership.\nDevelop and maintain recurring reports, safety analyses, compliance scorecards, and dashboards for leadership review.\nAnalyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, compliance, incidents, and training; identify trends and areas requiring follow-up.\nServe as a resource for compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance on established safety programs and procedures.\nCoordinate the implementation of new safety initiatives and compliance processes, including documentation, communication, and follow-up.\nRepresent assigned compliance programs on enterprise safety committees and contribute to projects and continuous improvement efforts.\nYou're a good fit if you have (or if you can)\n3+ years of experience in safety, compliance, transportation operations, or related operational safety support.\nBachelor’s degree in transportation, safety, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProfessional certifications such as ASP, OHST, CHST, TSP or willingness to pursue certification preferred.\nWilling to travel up to 25%\nAlso want to make sure you have\nWorking knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and workplace safety requirements, with the ability to interpret and apply established requirements.\nExperience conducting compliance audits and managing corrective action processes.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nExperience administering safety or compliance programs across multiple operational environments.\nExperience with safety management systems, learning management systems, and compliance tracking tools.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to identify trends, assess risk, and recommend practical solutions.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.\nWe invite you to See Yourself at Marvin\nFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
