This position requires the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.\nHighlights of your role\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for key indirect supply chain commodities. \nManage strategic supplier relationships and performance while driving continuous improvement initiatives. \nLead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and service agreements. \nMaintain and optimize the approved supplier panel while ensuring contract compliance. \nPartner with operations teams to support supply continuity and align local purchasing groups around common sourcing strategies. \nLead, coach, and develop a team of indirect purchasing agents and principals, including goal setting, performance management, workload prioritization, and team alignment. \nYou're a good fit if you have (or if you can)\nDemonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to establish direction, build trust, and create accountability across teams and functions. \nLead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities. \nBalance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational execution in a manufacturing environment. \nCommunicate effectively through written, verbal, and facilitation skills, including presenting risks, trade-offs, and recommendations. \nTravel up to 30% as business needs require. \nAlso want to make sure you have\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. \n7-10 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing-related functions. \nExperience working with scheduling systems, dashboards, production data, capacity planning tools, and KPI reporting. \nExperience leading cross-functional planning routines, S&OE/S&OP discussions, or similar operational cadence processes. \nStrong understanding of manufacturing flow, labor planning, dispatching, customer demand, and production schedule execution. \nStrong organizational, project management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills. \nWe invite you to See Yourself at Marvin\nFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
