This role provides leadership to maintenance team members, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures preventive maintenance programs are effectively executed.\nHighlights of your role\nCoordinate all aspects of maintenance operations and establish or adjust work procedures to support production and operational requirements.\nProvide high-quality service to internal customers while ensuring repair parts inventory is effectively managed and maintained.\nLead, coach, and develop maintenance team members by setting clear expectations, promoting accountability, and fostering a positive team environment.\nPartner with the Maintenance Manager in hiring, training, evaluating, and managing maintenance personnel.\nFacilitate training on equipment, maintenance procedures, safety programs, and operational processes.\nServe as the primary point of contact for contractors and ensure all contracted work is properly supervised and completed safely.\nManage maintenance projects to ensure completion within established timelines and budget requirements.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance practices, and team efficiency.\nEnsure compliance with all housekeeping, environmental, and safety standards throughout the maintenance department.\nPlan, schedule, and support preventive maintenance activities and work order execution to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.\nEnsure the availability, accuracy, and timely procurement of replacement parts and maintenance materials.\nInvestigate equipment failures and quality concerns to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.\nUtilize maintenance metrics and performance indicators to drive improvements in equipment uptime and maintenance effectiveness.\nYou're a good fit if you have (or if you can)\nTwo or more years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.\nFour or more years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong emphasis on electrical systems, automation, and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment.\nAbility to safely operate power tools and utilize computer systems related to maintenance operations.\nAbility to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\nStrong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and coaching skills.\nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.\nWorking knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, CMMS systems, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.\nAlso want to make sure you have\nExperience leading maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of PLCs, automation systems, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.\nExperience with root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance practices.\nStrong commitment to workplace safety and employee development.\nWe invite you to See Yourself at Marvin\nFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
