Join Marvin as a Purchasing Agent and contribute to delivering high-quality materials that support the fabrication of premium windows and doors.\nIn this role, you’ll be responsible for securing the right materials at the right time, quantity, and cost while meeting quality and performance standards. This position partners with suppliers and internal teams to maintain inventory accuracy, manage risk, and support continuous improvement across purchasing operations.\nHighlights of your role\nMaintain MRP drivers and update production forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels\nBuild supplier accountability through performance reviews, scorecards, and improvement discussions\nAnalyze purchase price variance and identify cost reduction opportunities\nCoordinate logistics, shipments, and supplier stocking plans to ensure on-time material delivery\nPartner with internal teams and suppliers to manage risk, quotes, and new materials\nYou're a good fit if you have (or if you can)\nStrong analytical, communication, and computer skills to support data-driven purchasing decisions\nKnowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and material quality requirements\nAbility to evaluate inventory usage, identify trends, and adjust plans to meet production needs\nCapability to influence outcomes, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams\nAlso want to make sure you have\nBachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field (preferred)\n2-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or a related discipline\nExperience with MRP systems, forecasting, or inventory management practices\nProfessional certification or demonstrated commitment to continued learning (preferred)\nWe invite you to See Yourself at Marvin\nFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
