In this role, the Regional Controller will partner with site leadership in support of the budget and planning processes along with financial risk management.\nHighlights of your role\nDrive the monthly close process for off-site financials, ensuring the process is performed in a timely and accurate manner.\nOversee development, documentation, and adherence to policies and procedures, including internal controls.\nDevelopment and execution of strategies to improve controllership efficiencies and effectiveness.\nProvide guidance on complex or large transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.\nCollaborate with the business on strategic initiatives, including cost optimization and growth opportunities.\nOversee process standardization, internal control improvements, and process-related integrations.\nPartner with the Corporate Controller and Assistant Controller to support the financial reporting and audit processes. \nProvide primary support to the current retail management system transition project.\nParticipate in the Enterprise Platform Transformation (EPT) project, especially in support of the record-to-report process definition.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nYou're a good fit if you have (or if you can)\nAdvanced knowledge of GAAP\nStrong team management and reporting experience\nResults and goal oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively across the organization\nComfortable developing financial processes that are efficient, effective, and take into account cross functional needs and activities.\nStrong critical thinking skills\nAbility to travel to off-site locations, as needed\nAlso want to make sure you have\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n10+ years of relevant experience\nDemonstrated understanding of the full record to report process and ERP systems\nWe invite you to See Yourself at Marvin\nFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
