We believe we can succeed in that mission by being the BEST provider for our clients, the BEST partner for manufacturers, and the BEST company for our employees.\nPosition: Assistant HVAC Coordinator\nReports to: Service Manager\nLocation: Hillside\nFLSA Status: Non-Exempt\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking a strong Service Coordinator/Dispatcher responsible for coordinating, controlling and directing activities of the service department and technicians. Must be detail and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of correspondence with customers, technicians, supervisors and the field. Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment. \nResponsibilities\nCoordinates service resources as related to service operations.\nSchedule personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability\nGenerates Work Order Documents, dispatches technicians and notifies customers\nResponsible for customer interaction\nCoordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary\nReviews project paperwork, complete calls, forwards project paperwork to Project Administrators\nMaintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff and responding to special requests\nLogs service start-up and service work requirements in job tracking system\nResponsible for generating and printing various assigned reports\nAbility to work regularly and dependably.\nAbility to function in a team environment.\nDemonstrate ability to maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.\nOther duties as assigned.\nThe Required Profile\nAssociate's degree in business or related field and 1 year working in a call center environment experience; or 3 years combination of education or experience\nStrong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nHVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus\nOther Skills & Abilities\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.\nEnvironmental Requirements\nWill be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
