The role is responsible for managing product development activities from concept to production readiness while collaborating with cross functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and successful product launches.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead product development activities by following established development processes and providing the necessary technical guidance to ensure the accuracy and quality of product samples, prototypes, and production ready outputs.\n\nCollaborate with Marketing teams to develop and manage Time & Action (T&A) plans, ensuring all development milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.\n\nProvide accurate technical and product information required for costing and pricing activities to support commercial decision making.\n\nDevelop and maintain technical specification packages, ensuring all product requirements are clearly communicated for pilot runs and pre production activities.\n\nWork closely with Tech Pack teams to provide information required for Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical documentation, and production initiation processes.\n\nPlan, coordinate, and execute integration trials, technical line trials (TLT), mini bulk runs, and product validation activities to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.\n\nIdentify technical challenges during product development and provide effective solutions to support successful pilot and production outcomes.\n\nParticipate in pilot appraisal and review meetings, provide technical recommendations, and ensure approved product specifications are communicated to relevant quality and production teams.\n\nGuide Product Development Centre (PDC) operators during molding trials and development activities, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and development objectives.\n\nCoordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the availability of required raw materials in the right quantity, quality, and timeframe to support development and sampling schedules.\n\nConduct feasibility assessments of new raw materials, technologies, and product concepts, supporting innovation and continuous product improvement initiatives.\n\nDevelop capacity plans based on demand forecasts and development requirements to ensure timely execution of product development projects.\n\nProvide technical guidance, coaching, and training to team members to enhance product knowledge, technical competency, and overall team performance.\n\nKnowledge and Skills:\nBachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, Fashion Design, or a related discipline.\n\nProfessional qualifications or postgraduate studies in Product Development, Textile Technology, Manufacturing, Innovation, or related fields will be an added advantage.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product Development, Marketing, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams.\n\nSound understanding of product development processes, product lifecycle management, new product introduction (NPI), and commercialization activities.\n\nKnowledge of product design principles, technical specifications, prototyping, testing, validation methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques.\n\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, mold development, production planning, and process optimization.\n\nExperience in preparing and managing technical documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical packs, and product specifications.\n\nKnowledge of raw material evaluation, material performance analysis, feasibility assessments, and product performance requirements.\n\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective technical
