You will work closely with carriers, vendors, and logistics hubs to improve efficiency, resolve freight issues, and keep systems updated for accurate tracking and reporting.\nHere's what we're looking for:\nCoordinate and handle all freight movements, including warehouse transfers, vendor pick-ups, and store-opening orders.\nMaintain carrier files, pricing information, and update transportation databases for accuracy.\nPrepare shipper summary reports and ensure timely communication with customers.\nAudit freight bills, confirm rates, and resolve discrepancies with carriers.\nHandle vehicle compliance with safety policies and government regulations, including insurance and registration documentation.\nCollaborate with regional distribution centers to develop guidelines for lane optimization.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED\nStrong experience in freight administration, logistics, and record-keeping preferred.\nKnowledge of freight tracking, scheduling, OSHA regulations, and transportation laws preferred.\nProficiency in MS Office and ability to manage computerized records.\nExcellent interpersonal skills to plan carrier selection, driver assignments, and equipment needs.\nHere's what we offer you:\nTraffic Coordinators start at $27.00/hr.
