Report any variances through system process for the Inventory Planner for further action. \nAssist in reconciling inventory discrepancies by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies. \nMaintain cleanliness and organization of inventory aisles and pick locations. \nPerform replenishment activities to allow for efficient picking processes. \nComplete stock conversions/work orders to balance inventory levels. \nTop stock pick locations to reserve based on overflow of materials. \nAchieve stock maintenance through proper pallet/shelf standards and location/storage set-ups, for new and active materials. \nCorrect any misplaced stock and communicate on root causes identified for further training opportunities. \nTransact submitted adjust inventory request forms, verifying them for completeness. \nSupport in appropriate storage locations for received materials based on factors such as usage, item size, weight, and storage requirements, utilizing warehouse management systems or other tools as needed. \nReceive materials/gaylords of internal transfer orders between buildings. \nMove materials/gaylords between designated storage locations, physically and systematically. \nPerform pick tasks for Outbound Transfer Orders (OTO) and Business to Business (B2B)/Liquidation orders. \nConduct assigned projects based on business needs related to materials and inventory management. \nAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing job responsibilities. \nAbility to support D2C, B2B, and OTO packing activities when business needs occur. \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nHigh school diploma or GED required. \n3+ years of previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or inventory management. \nProficiency with computer systems and competence in standard office software, including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. \nStrong attention to detail and accuracy. \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team. \nStrong communication and problem-solving skills. \nKnowledge of inventory control principles and practices, with the ability to follow standard work and work instructions. \nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to become power industrial vehicle certified within 30 days of hire. \nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds. \nAbility to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, reach, and crouch. \nAbility to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods. \nDepending on the organization's needs, there may be occasional overtime or holiday/weekend work during peak inventory periods \nNote: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
