You will work closely with various departments to forecast needs, procure supplies, maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will negotiate contracts, track maintenance costs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying areas for improvement and driving cost savings across the site.\nPRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop and analyze monthly cost summaries by machine, work order, and MRO supplies to drive cost improvements across the site.\nTrack and quote current service providers monthly, ensuring timely and quality completion of required work as per agreements.\nExecute annual contracts with service vendors, negotiating terms and pricing for services rendered.\nEstablish reorder point triggers in the database to initiate purchase orders for goods and services.\nIssue purchase orders based on reorder points for general MRO goods and replenish direct purchases as needed.\nFollow up on past due purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries and prevent facility downtime.\nProcess urgent requests from the plant to prevent extended downtime.\nSource maintenance goods and manage third-party repairs of motors, drives, and miscellaneous items.\nSubstitute obsolete parts within the facility for MRO goods.\nMaintain tool crib stocking strategies annually and manage all tool crib activities.\nEnsure contractor safety requirements are met in compliance with company standards.\nCollaborate with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance (PM) with contractors monthly.\nSchedule contractors for necessary work related to general production or capital expenditure (Capex) projects as directed by maintenance.\nTrack costs associated with capital projects in the CMMS database.\nClose out Capex projects and apply asset tags to the accounting database.\nManage critical spare inventory through the CMMS.\nOrganize monthly meetings to review all costs associated with operations.\nIdentify areas for improvement in both pricing and consumption.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree in business or related field or a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or a related role in a manufacturing environment\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)\nAbility to analyze data, develop cost effective maintenance plans, and identify areas for improvement.\nHigh attention to detail to ensure accuracy in planning and execution\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience in Material Control and Work Order Management\nFamiliarity with the plumbing industry and products\nIntermediate knowledge of Excel\nProficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.\nExperience using CMMS for planning and tracking maintenance activities.\nDemonstrated experience in Inventory Control Procedures\nExperience in negotiating and managing supplier contracts.\nFamiliarity with safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.\nHiring Range: $54,500 - $70,000\nActual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.\nABOUT US\nBrasscraft Manufacturing Company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality water and gas flow control products, plumbing service, and repair parts for the new construction and repair/remodel markets.
