finance and accounting operations, including entering journals, managing accounts receivable and payable, timely reconciliation and preparation of periodic statements in compliance with approved financial policies, standards, and procedures.\nKey Accountabilities :\nPerform daily AP and AR activities in compliance with the Company’s processes.\nInitiate invoice approval status and ensure processing timelines are being managed.\nPrepare and reconcile month end AP and AR reports\nRegular monitoring of customer receivables and follow up where required.\nCreate purchase orders as per the agreements and match to vendor invoices for payment processes.\nMaintain the fixed assets register in line with applicable standards.\nEnsure compliance with Masdar DOA.\nPerform cash management and regular monitoring of cash flow and bank accounts balances to ensure accuracy.\nOptimize cash management by placing customers advances in interest bearing accounts.\nPrepare the month end bank reconciliations to ensure clear reconciliation of items on the bank reconciliations.\nEnsure bank deposits are reconciled and categorized correctly.\nCoordination with bank for issuance of bonds, guarantees and Letters of credits as required by project contracts.\nReview of bonds, guarantees and Letters of Credit against project requirements and initiating amendments as required.\nRecord the business transactions related to the project in the accounting register (GL) in full compliance with reporting and accounting standards and Masdar financial policies and procedures.\nPerform the monthly accruals and provisions for accuracy and completeness.\nPrepare monthly trial balance and ensure the accuracy, quality and timely closing of books.\nManage monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, reporting and activities in full compliance with IFRS and Masdar financial policies and procedures.\nManage all payroll functions and accounting processes and monitoring of employees' timesheets and leaves.\nPrepare monthly management reports and financial analyses on a periodical basis as required by stakeholders.\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports to meet Group reporting requirements.\nMaintain project accounts and monitor project costs against budget.\nPerform local and foreign bank account payments and bank related activities.\nPrepare the month end bank reconciliations to ensure clear reconciliation of items on the bank reconciliations.\nEnsure bank deposits are reconciled and categorized correctly as deposit, short- or long-term restricted cash.\n Preferred Experience:\nAt least 8-10 years of experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, cash management, UAE VAT, financial and management reporting\nPrior experience in Renewable Energy projects is preferred\nJob specific skills:\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 applications with expertise in Excel required.\nSound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.\nProficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and other financial management software\nSuperior data management and data analysis skills.\nStrong time management and organizational skills.\nDetail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including
