The role will also involve occasional offshore visits and travel to London and other business locations as required.\nCandidates based in or near Lowestoft are preferred, though London-based candidates able to travel regularly to Lowestoft and our London offices will also be considered.\nJob Purpose:\nTo be fully embedded as Masdar secondee in O&M team at an operating asset, working alongside the JV partner responsible for Operations and providing valuable support to the O&M team and acting as Masdar representative\nTo ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our offshore wind assets and deliver technical projects that support day-to-day operations and improve asset performance across the East Anglia 3 (EA3) Wind Farm.\nTo work closely with engineering teams, site personnel, suppliers and technical specialists, to help plan, standardise and optimise offshore O&M activities to improve efficiency, reduce risk and support long-term asset performance.\nThe role will also be part of Masdar’s Offshore Wind Asset Performance team and work closely with Construction and Engineering Teams to provide valuable feedback and insights as Masdar’s portfolio/operational team expands.\nResponsibilities\nManagement and Delivery of Technical Improvement Projects\nDeliver technical improvement projects from planning through execution to close-out, ensuring delivery to time, budget, quality and all relevant HSE, regulatory and legal requirements.\nIdentify and implement improvements in maintenance strategies, repair solutions, risk mitigation measures and operational processes, optimising OPEX, CAPEX and revenue performance.\nCoordinate technical interactions across Operations Engineering, Site Teams, Global Services, OEMs, service providers, consultants, certifiers and regulators, fostering productive and compliant technical collaboration.\nLead technical project management of ROV and geophysical subsea inspection campaigns, ensuring readiness, site coordination, execution oversight and close-out reporting.\nLead technical tender preparations and act as Project Manager for Balance of Plant retrofit, repair and improvement campaigns.\nDevelopment of Asset Management Processes and information sharing with stakeholders\nSupport development and implementation of asset management processes, procedures and standards required to maintain safe and efficient operations.\nCapture, evaluate and share lessons learned across offshore O&M activities; establish robust mechanisms for knowledge transfer across current and future projects.\nProvide oversight and act as technical owner for BoP scope\nProvide technical oversight of EA3 Balance of Plant scope setup, contract preparation and execution, including guiding a junior engineer in delivering strategy, Scope of Works, tender evaluations and planning.\nCoordinate change management, issue resolution, work deferrals and in-process reviews across East Anglia 3.\nProvide robust technical recommendations across the full asset lifecycle, from development and construction through operations and into life extension and decommissioning.\nSupport the development and implementation of digital tools for O&M\nAct as technical owner for digital O&M tools supporting Balance of Plant maintenance (e.g., FUSION, Motion, iAuditor, SAP), ensuring data quality and resolving technical issues across the wind farm.\nSupport adoption and development of small-scale digital tools to drive smarter, more efficient operations.\nComply with information security policies, procedures and requirements at all times\nAdhere to any applicable EA3/JV host/Masdar information security policies and procedures and identify and report security incidents and suspected weaknesses to the appropriate point(s) of contact.\nProtect assets under care (e.g. laptops and other devices) and information/credentials against unauthorized access, sharing, and/or damage/loss, in accordance with the Information Classification and Handling Procedure.\nClear desks of all sensitive material and log off/ lock workstations at the end of the day and when leaving desk for a prolonged period in accordance with Acceptable Usage Policies.\nEnsure not installing, copying or modifying of any software on Masdar equipment without authorization.\nSupport Quality Health and Safety Environment (QHSE) activities, policies and objectives of Masdar and compliance with the laws and regulations of Abu Dhabi and UAE.\nThis includes participating (when requested) in QHSE audits, office inductions, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as applicable.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nA degree or equivalent in physics, mathematics or an engineering discipline or Level 3 NVQ/ Advanced Apprenticeship\nProject Management or Asset Management Qualifications beneficial\nPreferred Experience:\n5+ years of relevant work experience\nExperience of renewables / power generation industry.\nExperience in definition and communication of risk and risk-based strategies\nExperience working on continuous improvement projects and optimising ways of working.\nExperience leading technical studies\nProven project management experience (c £100k).\nJob-Specific skills:\nSound technical knowledge relevant to the offshore wind industry (e.g. structures, cables, high voltage equipment, SCADA, drivetrains, electronics, data analysis).\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nDeveloped report writing, presentation skills and ability to summarize a parameters and
