We are looking for a candidate who will frequently wear a Program Manager hat, is comfortable speaking up, and can effectively communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders, create timelines and milestones, drive those timelines and milestones. We keep them short and only use them for alignment, giving you your time back to focus on real work.\nYou Will Be\nArchitecting and integrating system-level electrical designs including computer platforms (x86/SoC), camera modules, sensors, displays, and external peripherals.\nOwning system power architecture including power distribution, sequencing, power budgeting, and platform thermal considerations.\nLeading hardware bring-up, debugging, and system validation across electrical, firmware, and software layers.\nWorking closely with computer vision teams to enable robust camera performance and diagnose imaging issues from a hardware perspective.\nSupporting camera subsystem development including sensor selection, camera board integration, and calibration considerations.\nDesigning and integrating systems using high-speed and low-speed interfaces (USB, PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO).\nRapidly prototyping and evaluating new system architectures and electro-mechanical concepts.\nDrive product development from prototype through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production.\nCollaborating with global suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver scalable production hardware.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field\n\n3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, hardware engineering or related experience\n\nProficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, PADS) and circuit analysis software (e.g. SPICE)\n\nUnderstanding of and demonstrated experience in electrical design principles, circuit analysis, and electronics manufacturing processes\n\nExperience in failure analysis modes, including both non-destructive and destructive FA\n\nExperience working with complex board designs PCB/FPC/RFPC, design/manufacturing release, test, bringup, and debugging\n\nHands-on EE lab experience, including with: soldering equipment, oscilloscopes, high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, function generators\n\nAbility to read, interpret, and basic coding ability for C/C++ and similar embedded systems languages\n\nFamiliarity with BOM and PLM management and processes, e.g. Agile, Aligni\n\nAble to travel (~2x annually) for overseas builds\n\nAble to travel (~2x annually) for domestic hardware installations\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in shipping consumer electronics over a full NPI/xVT cycle with a focus on HW system design and integration\n\nExperience with rapid prototyping to derisk new designs and technologies\n\nExperience with IMUs/sensor physical sensor systems with an understanding of calibration methods\n\nExperience with vision systems\n\nExperience with display technologies (e.g. LCD, OLED)\n\nExperience programming in languages like Python or C/C++\n\nStrong electrical design fundamentals in analog (e.g. audio, sensor AFE), high speed (e.g. DDR4/5, MIPI, USB3) and power design (e.g. PDN analysis, power architecture)\n\nDesign experience related to EE-adjacent domains such as: ESD, Reliability, Thermal, Desense/EMI, Signal Integrity\n\nExperience in HW design and integration
