We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.\n Job Summary\nUnder the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Lead Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Manoach Lab with a focus on study conduct and implementation, administrative and financial matters. Drawing on a broad understanding of Hospital practices and policies concerning clinical research, and displaying a high degree of initiative and independent judgment, the Lead CRC will monitor and direct the research program including research grant administration, budget and personnel management. S/he will also contribute to data acquisition and processing when needed.Must be a high performer with well-developed organizational, analytic and communication skills capable of working independently. This position will involve collaborating with colleagues, research programs and labs in other departments and institutions.\n Qualifications\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nSupervises and monitors clinical research coordinators in conducting studies including: developing, evaluating and maintaining adherence to standard operating procedures for study protocols; participant recruitment and retention; database development and management; sample collection, processing and shipment. Resolves problems; works with staff to identify and implement system improvements.\nDevelops, implements and oversees record keeping for studies including maintenance of Clinical Research Folders and Master Binders in accordance with IRB and HIPAA guidelines.\nTakes a lead role in implementing new research protocols, working in tandem with research coordinators. Liaises with the Clinical Research Center, Laboratories, pharmacy, and collaborators, participates in data acquisition when needed, participates in project meetings.\nWorks with the PI to oversee and manage the lab budget, including adjusting salary distributions.\nVerifies the accuracy of monthly financial reports and provides detailed updates to the PI. \nSubmits and monitors grant proposals via InfoED and is the liaison to the Departmental Research Grants Administrator and Research Management team.\nManages purchasing; Maintains study equipment, supplies, and materials.\nManages the hiring process.\nPrepares, submits, tracks, and manages all IRB correspondence & submissions\nSubmits study progress reports as required.\nAssists in manuscript writing and preparation.\nSkills/Abilities/Competencies Required\nStrong project management skills.\nStrong analytic skills: can understand financial data and manage complex grant portfolio.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication (in all mediums) skills.\nLeadership ability: can provide support and direction to staff.\nFluency with and ability to independently learn spreadsheet, database, word processing programs.\nExperience and familiarity with eRA Commons and ASSIST is a plus.\nCan work independently, checking in when necessary.\nComfort working with clinical research populations.\nExperience conducting research studies with EEG/MRI scanning is highly desirable.\n Additional Job Details (if applicable)\n63,252.80 - 102,596.00 - 141,939.20\nRemote Type\nHybridWork Location\n149 Thirteenth Street Building 149Scheduled Weekly Hours\n40Employee Type\nRegular Work Shift\nDay (United States of America)Pay Range\n$63,252.80 - $102,596.00/AnnualGrade\n7At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
