The position will ensure that the StrataJazz platform and associated reporting tools provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial information to support decision-making across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with an interest in technology, systems, data, and process improvement.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required\nExperience\n3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, information systems, data analytics or related field required \n2+ years of experience in healthcare required\nFinancial Reporting & Analytics - Approximately 50%\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools used by Finance and operational leadership.\nAnalyze financial and operational data across MGB to identify trends, variances, opportunities, and areas requiring further investigation. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. Analytics on consolidated MGB financials and across enterprise-wide departments.\nPrepare ad hoc financial analyses and management reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.\nTranslate business and financial requirements into meaningful reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions. Develop dashboards that clearly communicate key financial and operational metrics to leadership.\nWork with Finance and operational stakeholders to understand reporting needs and continuously improve existing reporting products.\nDrive efficiency through implementation and use of AI tools and capabilities (such as Microsoft Copilot). Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and streamline recurring reporting through automation and improved use of technology.\nPerform data validation and quality assurance to ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and reliable.\nPresent findings and analytical results in a clear and concise manner to both financial and non-financial audiences.\nStrataJazz Platform & Finance Systems Support - Approximately 50%\nServe as a primary Finance subject matter expert and administrator for the StrataJazz FP&A platform (Mass General Brigham utilizes StrataJazz for annual operating budget planning, monthly management reporting, weekly productivity reporting, decision support, long range planning, and capital planning).\nPartner with Finance, Accounting, Decision Support, Digital, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve system functionality and financial information.\nSupport the development and implementation of new financial methodologies, reporting structures, and analytical requirements within the platform.\nManage day-to-day system support, including user requests, issue resolution, troubleshooting, and coordination with MGB Digital resources and StrataJazz support.\nMaintain system configurations, data elements, hierarchies, mappings, and other platform components as appropriate.\nMonitor data integrity and investigate discrepancies between StrataJazz and source financial systems.\nCoordinate system updates, enhancements, testing, and implementation of new functionality.\nDevelop and maintain documentation, procedures, and controls related to the StrataJazz platform.\nProvide training and guidance to Finance and operational users on system functionality and reporting capabilities.\nCross-Functional Responsibilities\nBuild strong relationships with Finance, Accounting, Digital, Decision Support, and operational departments throughout MGB.\nServe as a trusted resource for questions related to financial data, reporting, analytics, and StrataJazz functionality.\nParticipate in projects involving financial systems, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and organizational decision support.\nTranslate complex financial and technical concepts into understandable information for business stakeholders.\nMaintain a strong understanding of the organization's financial data, reporting structures, and key performance indicators.\nPromote data accuracy, consistency, standardization, and appropriate use of financial information across the organization.\nWorking Model\nRemote, M-F eastern standard business hours.
