Works under established procedures and departmental standards to support safe patient care and operational effectiveness.Does this position require Patient Care? No\nEssential Functions\nPerforms decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable medical devices and surgical instrumentation in accordance with established procedures and manufacturer's Instructions for Use (IFU).\nOperates sterile processing equipment, including washers, sterilizers, and related technologies, following departmental policies and regulatory requirements.\nInspects instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and completeness; identifies items requiring repair or replacement.\nAssembles instrument trays, procedure sets, and equipment according to standardized tray listings and quality standards.\nUtilizes instrument tracking systems to document processing activities and maintain traceability of reusable medical devices\nMaintains inventory of sterile supplies, processing consumables, and departmental stock to support operational needs.\nTransports instruments, equipment, and supplies to support procedural and patient care areas.\nRecognizes and communicates equipment malfunctions, processing concerns, quality issues, and safety risks to appropriate personnel.\nComplies with applicable regulatory, accreditation, infection prevention, and departmental standards.\nParticipates in training, competency validation, and continuous improvement activities.\n Qualifications\nEducation: Some High School Completed preferred\nCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
