We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.\n Job Summary\nMass General Brigham University of Health Professions invites applications for term lecturer faculty positions across a variety of programs, including:Audiology\nCommunication Sciences & Disorders\nGenetic Counseling\nHealth & Rehabilitation Sciences\nHealth Professions Education\nHealthcare Administration & Data Analytics\nNursing\nOccupational Therapy\nPhysical Therapy\nPhysician Assistant Studies\nTerm Lecturers are appointed on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon student demand, and typically teach between 3-9 credits per semester, dependent on program requirements, in various formats (ex. classroom settings, labs, simulation spaces, at clinical sites).\nTerm Lecturers hired into these roles will possess one of following titles: Term Lecturer, Course Developer, Facilitator, Lab Instructor, Simulation Coordinator, Site Clinical Instructor, Teaching Fellow, Clinical Oversight Instructor, or Project Mentor.\nResponsibilities primarily involve delivering didactic content through both on-site and online platforms, managing course delivery, grading, student mentoring, and maintaining regular office hours.\nQualifications\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nThe specific duties and responsibilities are contingent on the program and role. During the selection process, relevant program details will be provided.\nGenerally, the Term Lecturer will:\nDeliver high-quality instruction in alignment with their area of expertise and program needs.\n\nDevelop and manage online course content using Desire to Learn (D2L) where applicable.\n\nPublish and maintain the course syllabus.\n\nOversee course management and content delivery.\n\nConduct assessments and assign grades for student performance.\n\nProvide student mentoring and academic support, including designated office hours.\n\nWhile specific qualifications are program-dependent and will be clarified during the selection process, all Term Lecturers should generally possess:\nAn advanced or terminal degree in a relevant field.\n\nPrevious clinical experience in applicable programs.\n\nAn active professional license for programs requiring licensure.\n\nA commitment to graduate student success and a demonstrated dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the academic environment.\n\nThe ability to work independently and effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, administration, staff, patients, and external partners.\n\nAdditional Skills and Abilities:\nSpecific skills, abilities, and competencies required are program and role-specific and will be communicated during the selection process.
