Combining technical expertise with strong leadership skills, you will manage analysis activities, guide and develop team members, engage with key stakeholders, and deliver high-quality insights that support critical decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for data analysis, problem-solving and continuous improvement within a highly technical and operational environment.\nYour main responsibilities will be to:\nManage a small team providing expert analysis services.\nEnsure contracted core deliveries meet agreed milestones.\nResource manage and support, where necessary, the analysis of functional data to determine system performance and reliability.\nProvide briefings to our intelligent customer and represent / support them at technical meetings.\nEnsure the effective dissemination of high-quality information to appropriate stakeholders.\nEnsure the application of recognised best practice in specialist areas.\nProvide mentoring and coaching to early career team members and support them in developing specialist skills where applicable.\nThe essential experience you’ll bring to the role will be:\nStrong leadership, teamwork and organisational skills.\nMinimum five years of system analysis experience.\nA commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.\nGood understanding of system performance and statistical analysis.\nExperience of working with data, in an established team environment, to understand how it can help an organisation make better decisions.\nHigh standards of written, verbal and presentational communication skills.\nHighly desirable attributes for the role are\nA degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience (ten years’ experience of the operation or maintenance of maritime weapon systems).\nData Analysis methods - modelling, classification, regression, clustering, simulation and prediction\nFlexible and adaptable communicator who can tell a great factual story and adapt it to their audience.\nA natural curiosity, methodical and prodigious at solving problems.\nOur non-negotiables:\nYou must be eligible to work and live in the UK\nDue to the highly secure nature of the projects, you’ll be working on, you must be a UK National, and be willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK Government Security Clearance\nWho is MASS?\nMASS is an independent, global technology company, trusted by highly-secure organisations to provide advanced, digital services that manage data and keep information safe.
