Our goal is always to deliver optimal results at the best possible value.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nHandle local and national accounts throughout the State of California.\nIndependently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.\nConduct and defend depositions.\nPrepare witnesses for depositions and trial.\nReview and analyze discovery requests and responses.\nDraft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings.\nTake lead roles in plaintiff and expert witness depositions.\nAssist with trial preparation and trial support.\nCollaborate with partners, clients, and team members to develop case strategy.\nMaintain accurate and timely billing and time records.\n Candidate Requirements\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas:Construction Defect\nGeneral Liability\nProduct Liability\n\nOther comparable civil defense litigation experience\nJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.\nAdmission to practice law in California and in good standing.\nExperience handling all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and depositions.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.\nCommitment to providing exceptional client service.\n Why Join MG+M?\nOur associates work closely with senior attorneys and clients on challenging and sophisticated matters in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
