You'll help clients evaluate, adopt, and implement advanced manufacturing technologies-including automation, robotics, IIoT, manufacturing systems, data, and emerging technologies-while also delivering MassMEP's core continuous improvement solutions.\nWe're looking for an experienced manufacturing technology professional who has personally implemented technology in a production environment, understands continuous improvement, and is ready to apply that expertise across manufacturers throughout the Commonwealth.\nPROJECT MANAGER - Advanced Manufacturing Technology Focus\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nReporting directly to the Field Operations Lead, the Project Manager will be responsible for deploying and sustaining lean and continuous improvement programs for manufacturing clients across the Commonwealth, administering surveys in accordance with the grant schedule, and engaging the sales representative to assist in the development of future opportunities for MassMEP.\nCompetencies for Success\n· Thrive in a team environment and be able to work with all parts of the organization to contribute to the organization’s commitment to core values and strategic plans\n· Continuous improvement mindset\n· Excellent communication/presentation skills\n· Exceptional time and project management skills\n· Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills\n· High work ethic to facilitate the core values of the organization with integrity\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering; or equivalent training/experience \nKnowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, including industrial automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing tools\n10 Years’ Experience in training, engineering, quality, management, or supervisory role in manufacturing environment\nProven experience in automating downstream operations\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications\nSolid presentation skills, including creating engaging and effective electronic and/or print materials\nMust be able to work well under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and have a flexible schedule\nMust have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation\n Preferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platform\nFamiliarity with manufacturing enterprise systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Quality Management Systems (QMS)\nLean Six Sigma Black Belt certification\nEssential Tasks\n· Identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement activities; drive standardization and consistency of approach\n· Fully execute and deliver full scope of MassMEP training projects to clients as outlined in grant or contract\n· Monitor and follow up on trainings.
