The Healthcare Innovation Team within MeHI is focused on catalyzing healthcare innovation, technology, and competitiveness to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of healthcare in Massachusetts. We are seeking someone with strong project management skills and knowledge of community health centers to join our team to lead the new Stronger and Healthier communities through the Integration of Emerging Health Technologies (SHINE-HT) Program. SHINE-HT is designed to help Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Massachusetts adopt health tech solutions that support their workforce and improve their care delivery. Experience managing federal grants is valuable as the SHINE-HT Program will utilize funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).\nThe SHINE-HT Senior Program Manager will:\nStakeholder Engagement:\nDevelop and maintain relationships with the eligible grant applicants, including FQHCs in Massachusetts and organizations pre-qualified as Implementation Partners, to ensure the SHINE-HT program continues to align with the needs of FQHCs; \nManage relationships with key stakeholders, including the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services to promote the SHINE-HT Program and ensure it aligns with the goals of RHTP\nProject and Grant Management:\nImplement and scale the SHINE-HT Program to support the piloting, adoption, and rollout of new health care technologies at Massachusetts FQHCs; \nOversee the procurement and selection of FQHCs to pilot the implementation of new health care technologies for specific use cases; \nOversee the pre-qualification and management of Implementation Partners to support the rollout of health care technologies within selected FQHCs;\nWork closely with Implementation Partners and the selected FQHCs to ensure the health technologies are successfully piloted and rolled out;\nWork with the Director, Digital Health Innovation and the MeHI Director to design and execute an incentive and consulting services grant program within the SHINE-HT program to scale the implementations of piloted health care technologies within qualified FQHCs;\nDevelop a strong understanding of MassTech’s procurement, contracting, and invoicing policies and procedures and work closely with MassTech’s legal and finance teams on the procurement, contracting, and invoicing processes for the SHINE-HT program; \nWork with the Director, Digital Health Innovation to catalog and comply with all state and federal reporting requirements related to the SHINE-HT program; \nDevelop, track and analyze key performance indicators for the SHINE-HT program; \nOrganize and lead internal and external meetings to support the SHINE-HT program;\nTravel within the state is required, often not accessible by public transportation\nPerform additional tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director, Digital Health Innovation, MeHI Director or their designee\nRequirements\nEducation/Experience\nA minimum of five years of program and/or project management experience, preferably in a health care setting; \nProven knowledge of community health centers’ missions, goals, and needs; \nExperience managing or working on federal grants. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nDemonstrated ability to design and manage projects to successful completion;\nOutstanding attention to detail and a keen focus on producing accurate, high-quality work;\nExcellent organizational skills;\nStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skills; \nAbility to work successfully and collaboratively as part of a team and with multiple stakeholders;\nDemonstrated ability to manage external consultants to support project implementation; \nAbility to manage multiple priorities effectively;\nHigh degree of independence, flexibility, initiative and commitment; \nKnowledge and experience using Microsoft Office\nThis position requires candidates to be able to work at our Westborough, Massachusetts office at least two days per week. This is not a fully remote position.\nThe salary range for this position is $95K - $104K annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s background, skills, and internal equity.\nAttend offsite and inter-office meetings as required, including travel between Boston and Westborough office locations.
