Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.\nJob Description:\nThe HR Specialist - Training plays a critical role in supporting the growth, performance, and development of our workforce. This position serves as a key partner to production leadership by providing oversight and coordination of training programs, supporting performance management processes, facilitating employee development initiatives, and ensuring consistency in employee review programs across the facility.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with operations leaders, trainers, and associates to drive training effectiveness, monitor employee progress, identify development opportunities, and maintain accurate training and performance records. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to influence and coach leaders, and a passion for developing people in a manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide oversight and coordination of facility training activities across all shifts and departments.\nPartner with department leaders and trainers to ensure new hire onboarding and job-specific training programs are effective, compliant, and consistently administered.\nMonitor and maintain training matrices, qualification records, certifications, and employee development documentation.\nTrack training completion rates, competency assessments, and workforce readiness metrics.\nSupport employee performance management processes, including performance reviews, development planning, coaching documentation, and corrective action follow-up.\nAssist leaders in identifying skill gaps and creating development plans to improve individual and team performance.\nAnalyze training and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring improvement.\nSupport succession planning and talent development initiatives for hourly production associates.\nServe as a resource for associates and leaders regarding training requirements, career development opportunities, and performance expectations.\nMaintain accurate documentation within HRIS and learning management systems.\nDevelop and distribute reports related to training compliance, employee development progress, and performance metrics.\nAssist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and workforce development activities.\nSupport compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory training requirements.\nPartner closely with Human Resources and Operations leadership to support organizational effectiveness and workforce capability.\nPerform other related duties and special projects as assigned.\nSkills & Qualifications\nProven experience coordinating training, employee development, learning programs, or human resources initiatives.\nStrong knowledge of employee performance management and coaching principles.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and partnerships at all organizational levels.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.\nStrong analytical skills with experience gathering, tracking, and interpreting workforce data and metrics.\nDemonstrated ability to influence leaders and employees without direct authority.\nHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skills.\nSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.\nFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to support a multi-shift operation and adjust work schedules as business needs require.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, charts, and data analysis.\nExperience with HRIS, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or Workday preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\n2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Training, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, or a related field.\nExperience supporting employee performance review and development processes.\nExperience in manufacturing, distribution, or production environments preferred.\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Education, or a related field.\nExperience facilitating training sessions, workshops, or employee development programs.\nStrong project management and organizational planning abilities.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.\nShift Requirements\nMonday - Thursday (7am - 5:30pm)\nOvertime as needed, based on department demands\nBenefits\nComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, wellness programs, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays.\nAssociate recognition and appreciation programs.\nCareer growth and professional development opportunities.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
