Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.\nJob Description:\nThe Material Handler is esponsible for efficiently managing inbound and outbound orders, this role encompasses various warehouse functions to ensure smooth operations.\nResponsibilities:\nDrives forklift to move product and materials when required.\nProvides on-the-job training and back-up coverage in key areas as needed.\nAssists in maintaining inventory accuracy, completion, and reconciliation of purchase orders.\nConducts and audits cycle counts.\nAssists supervisor with special projects.\nResearch production issues and expedite product as necessary.\nFollows and promote safety initiatives and assist in development of safety programs.\nSupports Continuous Improvement by participating in and sustaining the MasterBrand Way\nSupports, maintains, and sustains 6S initiatives.\nComplete and retain MasterBrand Cabinets powered industrial equipment certification to include industrial forklift and aerial platform (required).\nTrain new associates and/or cross-train associates.\nUpdate HxH or communication boards as needed.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor.\nQualifications:\nAbility to work safely and productively with a focus on leadership.\nDemonstrated competence in required math skills and accurate use of tape measure.\nForklift certification and experience.\nDemonstrated ability to navigate Friedman systems.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze, problem solve, and provide solutions to inventory problems.\nDemonstrated ability to lead production and actively support department initiatives.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate and resolve issues with internal vendors, customers, associates, and supervisors in an effective and positive manner.\nAbility to maintain production goals, including flexible hours as required.\nMaintain positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperation.\nWork Environment:\nManufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to wood dusts, and cabinet-making related materials such as wood glue, requiring eye protection.\nExposure to hot and cold temperatures due to non-climate-controlled environment.\nExposure to sounds over 85 dB, requiring ear protection.\nSensory/Physical Requirements:\nFrequent speaking, hearing, near vision, far vision and touch.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
